This Solvar Silver History of Ireland Locket is a lovely piece that retail at $230 at new. The Solvar History of Ireland collection is crafted from sterling silver. Each piece is engraved with twelve symbols that represent key points in Ireland's history. The symbols are the Circle of Life, St Patrick, Round Towers, Vikings, Norman Invasion, Battle of the Boyne, United Irishmen, Irish Flag, Famine, Famine Ships, GPO and Partition.


This particular piece is a beautifully crafted locket. The symbols mentioned above are engraved around the front, meanwhile the back of the pendant is hallmarked History of Ireland. The pendant of course opens and still has the original protective film inside. This piece is ready to wear (or gift,) featuring both the chain and the locket.


The necklace is 20 inches in length with a chain width of 1.2 mm. The pendant measures 30 mm in length including the hanger and 21 mm in width. Combined the pendant and chain together weigh an impressive 10.5 grams.
